Save Global Farmers Foundation demands IPL Final to be dedicated to ailing farmers

Save Global Farmers Foundation held a campaign to support farmers during the IPL Cricket match held in Rajeev Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 20 May 2018. The members of the foundation wore Green Towels, which represents the farming community, and attracted everyone in the stadium with their ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan’ slogans.

Mr.Ravinder Ryda, President, Save Global Farmers Foundation, announced that the motto behind this campaign is to dedicate the IPL Final to ‘the families of farmers who committed suicide’ as a charity gesture.

The foundation demands that some amount of money from the IPL collections should be given to the grieving farming community. Mr.Akula Mohan, Co-Convenor, Telangana state, even questioned the film stars about why they were not playing cricket matches to support farmers. Mr.Dumpula Naresh, Convenor, Telangana state, Mr.Armoor Sravan, Vice President and Mr.Nagesh Bashett took great measures for the success of this campaign.
