India attacks JeM terrorist training camp in Balakot, Pakistan

India’s intelligence led operation attacks the biggest training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed at Balakot, Pakistan, in the early hours of Tuesday. In this attack, a large number of terrorists, trainers, senior commanders and jihadis were killed. This is the first time IAF has crossed LoC after the 1971 war.

Indian intelligence received a report that JeM was planning another suicide terror attack on India and in the face of imminent danger, this strike by India on Pakistan became absolutely necessary. This training camp at Balakot was headed by Moulana Yousuf Azhar, brother-in-law of Masoid Azhar, Chief of JeM. It is located in the thick forest on a hilltop far away from any civilian presence.

This attack by India was necessary to curb the menace of terrorism. There were no civilian casualties.
